Our Flour
Nestled in the Okanagan mountains of Cherryville, BC, Tevah Flour Co. crafts fresh-milled flour from Canadian-grown grains. Using traditional stone milling and small-batch production, we create wholesome flour with exceptional flavour and character.
For generations, better baking often meant removing more of the grain. We took a different approach. Our flour is crafted to create a silky-soft texture while keeping the bran, germ, and nutrient-rich oils naturally present in the grain. We don’t remove the bran… we simply mill it finer. The result is flour that bakes beautifully, tastes incredible, and lets you enjoy the benefits of whole grain without compromise.
Our traditional stone mill turns slowly, keeping the flour cool throughout the milling process. That gentle process helps preserve the natural oils while creating an exceptionally fine flour with a shelf life of up to six months when stored in a cool, dry place. Fresh-milled flour doesn’t have to be used immediately. It simply needs to be milled with care.
What to use it for
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Our flour is at its very best within 6 months, when its fresh flavour and nutrition really shine. While it often keeps longer with proper storage, we recommend using it sooner for the best baking experience.
For long-term storage, simply refrigerate or freeze in an airtight container.
